This apartment boasts of the convenience being located right in the city of Zug, about 12 mins walk to the train station and within 5 mins walk to convenience stores like SPAR and Coop City. As a family of 4 with young children, we loved this apartment due to its proximity to grocery stores, a well equipped kitchenette, free wifi and comfy beds + a sofa bed. Laundry can be done using the DIY washing machine located at the basement level of the building (however, you need to bring your own washing powder). You would also need to clear your own trash (trash bags provided) but the collection bin is conveniently located at the side of the block, so no hassle at all. What some may find quite inconvenient is that there is no lift/elevator. Hence, you would need to lug up your luggage to your apartment. There is also no air-conditioning in the apartment, just a standing fan. But that works for us even in summer, since the weather can get chilly at night, cool in the morning and we are out for much of the rest of the day. The neighbourhood is also rather quiet since it’s not located along a major road. The scenic Lake Zug, which is only a stone throw’s away, adds to the plus point! All in all, it was a great experience staying in HITrental. Value for money and recommended for families!
